2 Hours Course

Catching your first wave is an experience you’ll never forget, and knowing the correct technique will have you up on your feet and surfing in no time.

If you have never surfed before this course will set you up with some essential knowledge. You’ll learn the art of riding ocean waves.

Choose your date and course time. Then we'll advise you where to meet.

What to bring on your course :

  1. Beach bag
Because you’ll have some gear that needs to make it to the beach!
  2. Towel
This one seems pretty obvious, but it’s often one of the most overlooked items. Don’t worry if you forget one; we have our shop on hand for last minute purchases!
  3. Sunscreen
  4. Water & a snack
  5. Appropriate swimwear
This can change based on who you are and how comfortable you are in the water. You will be working hard, so you’ll want a swimsuit that stays on your body while you’re working out. For guys we recommend surf trunks.
  6. A rash guard or other swim shirt
Surfboards have a layer of abrasive wax, which is good when you’re up on your feet and want to stay on the board! However, that wax can rub your skin raw when you are paddling and moving around on the surfboard. A rash guard will protect you from wax rash, underarm rash as well as protection from the sun!
  7. Clothes for before and after
A nice large beach towels is always nice and a change of dry comfortable clothes and possibly a long sleeve in case you have a chill.
