Day 1 TAMBULAKA – RATENGGARO VILLAGE – BAWANA BEACH (D)

Upon arrive at  Tambulaka Airport / West Sumba , you are welcome by  our guide representative then start the tour visit Ratenggaro Traditional Village. Ratenggaro is especially extraordinary traditional village because it is located on the seaside. One of the characteristics of the villages in Sumba is that there is a megalithic tomb, which is look like a big stone table. As with all traditional villages, you can also find traditional Sumba houses (uma mbatangu) in Ratenggaro. Here, there houses are especially taller compared to other houses in other villages in Sumba. The traditional houses are made with a really tall roof in the middle. Then drive to Bawana Beach. Bawana Beach in Sumba Island offers a spectacle of cinematic shores with a hole in a giant rock. This is one of the most beautiful beaches, but the track leading to the beach is high, steep, and slippery.

Day 2 MANDORAK BEACH – WAEKURI LAKE – PRAIJING VILLAGE – WAERINDING HILL (B,L,D)

Mandorak Beach doesn’t have a long shore, but it is surrounded by big coral reefs. There is a comfy gazebo located on top of the reef where tourists can relax and enjoy sightseeing. The beach has soft-textured and cream-colored beach sand. In other side, lush green environment like trees and plants grow beautifully. Waekuri lake is a unique lake located near the sea, separated only by rock cliffs. The water is very clear, the lake bottom visible from the surface, the sand at the bottom of the lake is white as the sand on the beach. The water was salty as the sea water entering through cracks and accommodated by the hollow cliffs are fenced by stones. The lake surrounded by the cliff. From the top, you can see the vast oceans and green pastures. Praijing Traditional Village has 38 traditional architecture houses. The site is surrounded by shady trees and lush bushes which make the location feel shady and comfortable. We can meet and witness such traditional way of living directly. Waerinding, a very beautiful and charming hill. The hill looks stunning with a broad pasture vegetation. Overlay sprawling savanna, yellow during dry season and green during rainy season.

Day 3 TENAU HILL - PURU KAMBERA SAVANNA & BEACH - TANGGEDU WATERFALL (B,L,D)

Watching beautiful sunrise from the top of Tenau hill. Feel the cold early morning breeze coupled with the golden hue slowly warming up the rolling hills and valleys.

Being the habitat of wild horses, Puru Kambera Savanna is the right place to witness those exotic horses directly or even take pictures of them freely. Their color varies and they look quite healthy as well. Aside from grasses, the site also becomes the home of several big trees. The panorama even looks more beautiful during the hot season, as the grasses turn yellow. Puru Kambera Beach looks neat and stunning due to its white soft-textured sand. It is surrounded by pine trees that grow near to the shoreline, creating a shady and comfy atmosphere on site.

Then drive to Tanggedu Waterfall, the Grand Canyon of East Sumba. The water flows from low altitude  with natural ponds below. It is surrounded by unique pattern relief of rocks and cliffs.

Day 4 TANARARA HILL - WAIMARANG WATERFALL - SUNSET WALAKIRI BEACH (B,L,D)

Tanarara Hill covered with savanna grass which is an authentic view of Sumba. It makes a great background for Instagram pictures. 

Waimarang WaterFall is located in the deep of forest surrounded by cliff. It’s only 2m tall, but it has a pond with clam stream and clear blue water. The forest atmosphere, sound of insects and birds chirping, also the beauty of the pond, create an imagination “Pond of Heaven”.  

Walakiri Beach is one of many beautiful beaches in East Sumba with a characteristic tends to be calm, sloping and having a stretch of white sand. Walakiri has a unique mangrove with white sand adorned with coconut trees that provide shade and a cozy atmosphere when visitors walk along the beach. In low tide, The silhouette of mangrove trees that twist like dancers makes Walakiri beach sunset a unique phenomenon and spoil the eyes.

Day 5 SOUVENIR SHOP - PERSAUDARAAN HILL - WAINGAPU AIRPORT (B)

Today is the last day of your holiday in Sumba. We'll visit the Handwoven and souvenir shops. Then on the way to the airport we'll stop at Persaudaraan Hill. 

The most impressive feature of Persaudaraan Hill is the stunning landscape. The scenery of local farms look amazing from the top. 

Trip ends at Waingapu Airport. Thank you and see you again
